Lihi Hod’s Lueur en Blanc Collection: A Tribute to Timeless Elegance and Resilience

In a world increasingly adrift in a sea of change, there are moments when the past reaches out and anchors us, reminding us of enduring grace and resilience. This is the essence of Lihi Hod’s Spring 2025 bridal collection, "Lueur en Blanc," my personal favorite this season for reasons that go beyond mere aesthetics.

Born from the heartache of present-day strife, and inspired by the serene grace of Audrey Hepburn cradling a white dove, this collection is a powerful reminder of the beauty and strength humans are capable of, even in the most tumultuous times. The collection pays homage to the timeless elegance of the 1950s, a decade synonymous with simplicity and refinement.

"Lueur en Blanc," or "Glow in White," takes its name from the glow of hope that Lihi Hod saw in Hepburn’s gentle embrace of the dove—a symbol of peace and grace. Imagined during a difficult time for the Jewish people, this collection symbolizes hope and the power of art to transcend pain. An idea that is reflected not just in the beauty of the collection, but in each gown’s evocative name—names like Hope, Faith, Harmony, Joy are whispers of a brighter future where beauty and resilience coexist.

More than the obvious aesthetic beauty, "Lueur en Blanc" offers a kind of timeless elegance that uplifts and inspires. It is also a reminder that even in the most challenging times, the glow of beauty and grace can light the way forward.

As brides step into these gowns, my hope is that they truly appreciate the fact that they are wearing a legacy of resilience and a celebration of the spirit that defines us all.
